You may have heard some talk about a Podcast coming up at the End Zone Tap on 10034 S. Western Avenue on September 19, 7:00 til 9:00. This will be dedicated to celebrating Mendel's 68 City Champ football team, but all the guys and gals and their friends and family are welcome, no admission. I want a good contingent of Cavanagh, Combes, Hinsberger, Zackey, Klausner, Brantley, Flaherty and Daly family reps, if you can. I'd ask the guys who couldn't make the Soldier Field ceremony in 2008 to try hard to make it- especially Rich Wyatt, George Feehan, Jim Angio, (the Sox play Sunday afternoon) & Pat Schreiber. I'm hoping to arrange call ins from some of our out of towners who can't fly in.
It's basically a night at a Chicago neighborhood bar with lots of old friends. You don't have to be on the radio if you don't want to. There will be lots of us not drinking.
Everyone is welcome, no rope line or cover. Just a guaranteed good time.
